Ryo-ohki's 'true' form is a spaceship, but she can take on other forms.
When she got damaged Ryo-Ohki became an egg that hatched into the 
cabbit (cat-rabbit) form that is most familiar to everyone. But she can
also appear as multiple cabbits, which can wreak havok with the food 
supply. Thanks to merging with The Mass, which Washu was
using for her experiments, Ryo-Ohki was able to take on female form, 
appearing as a rather furry, kawaii child.
